The Disneyland resort in Hong Kong is wide and far-ranging, with plenty of attractions, rides and sights to sink your teeth into over the period of your stay. The park itself is divided up into four sections: Main Street USA, Adventureland, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland, the latter three being mainstays of Disneyland resorts. Also, in 2014 Hong Kong’s resort plans to bring the number of park regions up to seven, introducing Grizzly Trail, Mystic Point and Toy Story Land, with the first of these three scheduled to open as early as next year, so if you’re planning ahead, or have been before and are returning soon, there’ll be a brand new experience waiting for you.
The park also contains a railroad and its own Disney parade. The extra-special thing about the Disney Parade in Hong Kong is that there’s no disappointment if the day is a rainy one: the characters will conduct a Rainy Day Parade, all coming out dressed in their usual finery with raincoats on top. Fireworks are a nightly mainstay of the park as well, and if you’re especially lucky you might see Muppet characters Bunsen Honeydew and his assistant Beaker rolling around on their Muppet Mobile Lab, interacting with all visitors using a variety of experiments and comedy to keep everyone entertained.
