Disneyland Resort (California) Park Info

The park can sometimes seem a little daunting due to its vast size, it is a whooping 85 acres. What you need to know is that it is divided into various themed ‘lands’ and within each land there are rides which are based on the theme of that land. Everything starts at Main Street, which is are creation of an idyllic Midwestern town. It is at the end of the Main Street that you get to the legendary Sleeping Beauty’s castle. This is the point your children and probably you, will start squealing with excitement and breaking into a run!

The eight lands all stem off from this point, a few examples are Adventureland, Fantasy Land, Frontierland, Toontown and Tomorrowland. Each one offers you something different. It may be worth checking out which ones are suitable for particular ages before you arrive, so you don’t waste your time in an area where your child can’t get on any of the rides.
